Prevent Pilling!

Why does pilling occur?

Pilling is common on cotton products that receive a lot abrasion from every day wear-and-tear. Pilling is a result of the damaged fabric fibers becoming tangled into the shape of a pill. Pilling, in Bambino Land products, most commonly occurs with harmful washing and/or drying cycles.

How do I care for my Bambino Land products and prevent pilling?
1.      When washing, use a gentle or delicate cycle
2.      Wash with a light load of clothes that have a low tendency to lint to prevent abrasions from other products
3.      Wash with liquid detergent
4.      If washing with a powdered detergent, allow the powdered detergent to dissolve completely before adding your Bambino Land products
5.      Tumble dry your bambino land product so they are fluffy and crinkly (make sure to have a clean lint filter on dryer to help collect any pills)
